On June 7th the exhibit North Looks South, at the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston was inaugurated. The Hydrospatial City was the main piece. The MFAH will be the first museum to display this immense work in its entirety. The installation, to be presented in a 200-square-foot room, demonstrates my vision for the future: space architecture for a new, utopian civilization. There will be a galaxy of clear plastic mobiles that dangles from the ceiling. The installation also includes a manifesto, fifteen drawings, sketches, photos, and more. The MFAH has recently offered me to purchase the totality of the works that conform the Hydrospatial City. Now, it will have a new dedicated space, maximizing the work's expression. I specially thank Mari Carmen Ramirez for her help and intervention.
